Toplap Linz Kick-off
2024-05-30 18:20 @ DH5Inspired by the flame of the AMRO 2024 festival, the community of Toplap Linz emerged to play in its first ever meetup-concert on May 30th at DH5!
In our initial gathering, we had an introductory workshop to Tidal Cycles, contributed by Sule Suárez and Gorka Egino Arroyo. Using the code editor Flok, participants collaborated on the same online document, creating music together as a networked ensemble.
Right afterwards, we had the pleasure of being remotely joined by members of the Vienna Live Coding meetup. Together, we played live session from scratch: starting from a blank screen, we improvised a sound performance, diving into the unknown and focusing on explorative interactions.
To end the evening, we had a noise jam organized by Ludwig & Mascha at Badcafe
